Dr. Tina Younes is a bilingual, doctorate-level speech and language pathologist with over 11 years of international experience. She strives to build a fun and engaging therapeutic environment for all her clients, believing play is the basis to learning. She most recently worked at Rady Children’s Hospital in California, USA. Tina has special talent in the areas of multicultural therapy, augmentative and alternative communication, traumatic brain injury, picky eating, central auditory processing disorder, apraxia of speech, and early language development. Tina received her doctorate in speech and language pathology with a focus on non-verbal communication and generalization. Prior to Rady Children’s Hospital, Tina worked as a speech-language pathologist and clinic manager in the United Arab Emirates and GCC region. Tina received “Distinguished Early Career Professional Certificate of ASHA” in 2022. She is certified by the American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by Dubai Health Authority. Tina has presented across several international webinars and national conferences. She enjoys providing professional and parent trainings to ensure a collaborative and holistic team approach. Tina’s career goal is to ensure each child is provided with the opportunity to learn the power of communication and to use evidence-based practices to help each family develop his/her child’s individual and unique potential.
